By accessing or using Significant Figures ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Significant Figures provides a web-based platform for creating animated data visualizations. Users can upload data, customize visualizations, and export them as video files.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts

4. Subscription Plans

We offer the following plans:

  • Free: 3 exports/month, 720p, watermarked
  • Studio ($29/month): 100 credits/month, 1080p, no watermark
  • Premium ($49/month): Unlimited exports, 4K, brand kit

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all data and content you upload. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious code or harmful content
  • Violates any applicable laws
  • Contains personal data without proper consent

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Significant Figures and protected by intellectual property laws.

Videos you create using our Service are yours to use as you see fit, subject to any watermark requirements on free-tier exports.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service excessively
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Circumvent any usage limits or restrictions

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
